Taiping ( holiday part II )

My Taiping trip started with traveling up to  Maxwell Hill. I have very unpleasant experience going up the hill. Stomach not really feeling well, dizzy and feeling like vomit :S

The jeep rental going up hill is RM 6 if my memory serves me right.

As from below picture. The entire road up the hill is very dangerous and small. I don't know how the driver manage to drive so fast when going up the hill. They must be experienced.

Although going up the hill makes me sick :S , but it is all worth because the view up there is superb. I can see the sea from the top of the hill.

Other than trees, insects and cool wind, there is nothing much up the hills. Just a great place to relax your mind and free from city's busy life.

When going down the hills, again i have to suffered the movement inside the jeep. Going up and going down is suffering @@  for me

We had a bath at nearby waterfall location. I have really forgotten the name of the place but be CAUTION : If you're enjoying the water below than other people, you might be bathing with their shampoo and soap =.=

Later that day we went to lake. I team with JiaX for ridding swan boat around the lake. It is extremely "hot" game. What i mean by hot is i sweat a lot after paddling with the jacket on.

One boat cost RM 10

The interesting part of the trip is that, i will be having my first cave experience. We visited Gua Tempurung on the last day of our trip.

It is not really expensive as you can see from the price below. It is divided into 2 types of visit. One is dry and the other is wet. If you want to travel the whole cave, you will need to select Grand Tour which is wet. As we are not prepare for wet activity, we select package number 2 which is top of the world. Meaning we will be visit the top place inside the cave.

Here is entrance while we can still see the light from outside. I'm still amazed that my phone's camera are able to take photo in dark area.

Following photos are from the inside of the cave

The guide says that if the light implemented inside the caves goes off. We can't see a thing as if we are closing our eyes.

( the light area are actually the top of the cave already. below are dark which is very deep inside the cave )

Inside the cave are slippery and wet. JiaX falls and injure himself there. Pretty serious @@

Next place we visit is the Kellie's Castle. For more info about the place history, please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kellie%27s_Castle

It is written on top of his castle, he is able to see his plantation and his worker.

( caught people taking some "yeng" photo on people's rooftop )

The view from the top of his castle are great. The whole plantation and forest able to view from there. If this castle are able to complete that time, it would be a great place to live in .

I guess that's about all for my holiday trip. It's been tiring yet enjoy trip. Thanks to Rathika for offering us free stay at her house. Not to forget Kelvin who drive us go here and there for the entire trip. Sayonara...taiping :D
